'SilverCoast started with a humble dream: to deliver true Neapolitan pizza to Brooklyn, New York. Established by the Thompson lineage in 1985, our humble pizzeria had its beginnings as a quaint, family-operated business with recipes passed down for generations.
The artisan of our pizzeria, Emily Thompson, perfected her pizza-crafting skills during her Italian escapades, apprenticing with veteran pizzaiolos in Naples—where pizza originated. After her time in Italy, she was committed to bringing the essence of Italian pizza-making to the UK, strictly following established techniques and using only top-grade ingredients.
What originally started as a simple 12-seat eatery has expanded into a cherished local staple, though our dedication to premium quality and genuine craftsmanship has not faltered. We adhere to traditional wood-fired oven methods, prepare our pizza dough from scratch each day, and meticulously select the best ingredients available.
Today, 'SilverCoast' continues to be a family-run enterprise, with the Thompsons' second generation now at the helm of our enthusiastic crew. While we've incorporated contemporary advancements, the essence of our work remains unchanged: we're about making delectable, genuine pizza that unites everyone around the table.
